This website was created to give Latter-day Saint medical professionals an opportunity to share their testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ online. I believe their testimonies can “be a powerful force for good in the Church and in the world.” I, too, wish to do my part. This site is one way I can share the gospel, through testimonies born of Latter-day Saints who work in a variety of medical professions.
It is important to note that I do not esteem the testimony of one above another. Every sincere testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ is precious. You may also find testimonies of the gospel found on http://mormonwomentestify.org/ and http://mormonconvertstestify.org/ . These sites are hosted and maintained by FairMormon.
I am thankful to Scott Gordon of FairMormon.org / Fair LDS for his generosity. Richard K. Miller has also helped me in this endeavor. I am very thankful to Tanya Spackman for the excellent work she has done in the website design and for encouragement given me by friends and family. My husband and children have been my biggest supporters and I love them more than words can express.
I love and appreciate people of many different faiths. Although we may disagree on doctrine, I strive to focus on those things we have in common, such as our desire to make the world a better place. Together, there is much we have done and will continue to accomplish in helping others, such as providing humanitarian efforts worldwide. Finally, another reason I felt impressed to move forward with this project was finding mormonscholarstestify.org of which this website is patterned after. I received some encouragement from one of the creators, Daniel C. Peterson, and I appreciate his briefly mentioning the Mormon Doctors Testify website in the April issue of The Mormon Times.
